How We Test Our Nose Strips
You wear a nose strip on your face for hours. Here's what goes into making ours, and the testing behind it.
A nose strip sits on your skin for up to 8 to 10 hours, often while you sweat or sleep. So we think you should know what's in it and how it's tested. Here's a plain-English look at ours.
What's in a BreathePro strip
- A soft satin top layer that's gentle on skin and comfortable for long wear.
- 3 spring-like bands that flex with your nose and gently lift it open.
- A sports-grade, hypoallergenic adhesive made to stay on through sweat.
- An easy-peel backing so it's quick to put on.
The testing behind it
- SGS tested: SGS is one of the world's largest independent testing companies, and our strips are SGS tested.
- PFAS-free: no PFAS ("forever chemicals").
- REACH compliant: meets the EU's chemical safety rules.
- RoHS and CE: meets EU restrictions on hazardous substances and EU product standards.
- ISO 9001 and an FDA-registered facility: ISO 9001 certified quality management, and made in a facility registered with the US FDA.
Why it matters
Not every strip on the market goes through independent testing. When something is on your face every night, we think it should.
How to wear it comfortably
- Apply to clean, dry skin.
- Wear for up to 8 to 10 hours, then use a fresh strip.
- Peel off slowly. If it feels too sticky, wet the edges with warm water first.
- If your skin is very sensitive, try a short wear first and stop if any irritation appears.
